I am somewhere in my mid-60s—at least most days, I am. Time has a way of shifting like the wind, making me feel as if I am both old and young in the same breath. One moment, I am standing here, grounded in the present, and the next, I am pulled into the echoes of my past, back to a place where the air smelled of earth and river mist, and the sky stretched endlessly above me with the cloudes dancing on the breeze I could not feel.
There are memories so vivid that they don’t just sit in the past—they live and breathe within me. They call to me in whispers, reminding me that before I became the woman I am today, I was a child who saw the world through different eyes, a child who felt the presence of things unseen.
And so, I let myself go back. I step once more into the body of that little girl, barefoot in the damp morning grass, speaking in hushed tones to the wind. I hope you can join me in the journey.
There comes a time in every soul’s journey when the winds shift, and the path ahead is no longer the one we thought we were walking. Amora stands at that crossroads now—an elder in spirit, a woman of deep knowing, yet still discovering, still evolving. She has been many things in this lifetime—daughter, wife, seeker, seer, healer, psychic, mystic, mother, grandma, aunt, great grandmother, medium, mentor, friend. She has shed skins and worn new ones in this lifetime, always searching, always adapting. And yet, never before has she had to step into the great unknown quite like this.
This turning point is unlike the others. This one carries the weight of profound loss. Amora’s well-loved husband, her anchor of over 30 years, has stepped beyond the veil, leaving her here to navigate the tides of grief and transformation alone. But is she truly alone?
For Amora, the world has never been simply what the eyes can see. She walks between the veils, a bridge between the tangible and the unseen, an old soul who has spent a lifetime listening to the whispers of the universe. She has always known that there is more—more beyond the physical, more beyond what we think we understand. Yet, even with all her knowing, there were parts of herself she held back, aspects of her mysticism she kept hidden, even from those closest to her.
But now, the time for holding back has passed.
Grief is a transformation as much as it is a loss. It strips us down to our most vulnerable selves, demands surrender, and asks us to trust in what comes next. Amora is no stranger to reinvention, but this unfolding is different. This is not just a new chapter—it is an initiation into a deeper way of being. She is not merely surviving this loss; she is allowing it to guide her into something greater.
Amora is more than a name. She is the whisper of intuition, the keeper of unseen knowledge, the embodiment of a spirit untethered by time. She has lived many lives, walked many paths, and now, as she stands at the threshold of yet another transformation, she invites you to wander with her. To wonder at the possibilities that await beyond what we think we know.
This is her story. But in many ways, it is mine too. And it is time to tell it.
